There’s a Liz Ryan “resume killer” (well at least warmly abuzz) that offers a list of overworked resume phrases that kill your resume (or so she says) and therefore you should never, ever, positively no way use them. It is always better to be creative when writing a resume, especially in today’s competitive job market. Having a resume that sounds like everyone else will not put you above your competitors.
