Our Church Resume (MIF – Ministry Information Form) went on line November 16. The very next day we received twenty resumes (PIF – Personal Information Forms) from pastors all over the country. This is very encouraging. We will carefully examine all of these and future resumes knowing that God will lead us to the person who will shepherd our church in the near future. We covet your continued prayers.
Greets those who come into the office, answers their questions, gives needed assistance, or refers them to the proper staff person. Answers the telephone and gives assistance or forwarding the call to the appropriate staff person. Keeps church records as assigned, including records required by the Book of Discipline as well as those requested by church committees. Maintain current membership roll and mailing list; Types minutes of all church committees as submitted, and keep a comprehensive file of all minutes. Sends out notices of meeting of all committees as requested. Types and prints the Sunday bulletins, design the monthly newsletter, and other brochures and flyers that are periodically requested by staff and committees. Operates computer system in the daily task of organizing and implementing church business; Assists in drafting and typing letters, reports, records, etc. as needed for program staff and church officials; Maintains and updates database of mailing lists, membership status, birthdays, and committees; Organizes and maintains financial records, including payroll, deposits, payments, and bank accounts. Executes spreadsheets for monthly financial reports; Give clerical support to all program staff and church committees.
